Who we are

Danielle Arbuckle, Editor, Proofreader, Writer

Danielle has been a writer and editor in the financial field for the past 10 years. She was a plain language editor for the Ontario Securities Commission, where she put together a series of investor communication brochures on topics including investing in mutual funds and avoiding fraud, as well as a series of employee communications manuals for the Human Resources department.

Danielle was also a senior editor at Standard & Poor’s, where she was responsible for editing media releases and research reports, and for creating a weekly investor e-newsletter.

As a freelance writer and editor, Danielle specializes in investor education and employee communications material. She also edits academic texts, fiction and non-fiction trade books, and children’s books.

Danielle is a voting member of the Editors’ Association of Canada. She is also an active member of the International Association of Business Communicators and the Alliance of Independent Practitioners. Danielle has a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Queen’s University and has completed several editing and writing courses through the Editors’ Association of Canada.
